Michael is a highly experienced Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist with over a decade of clinical practice and more than 17 years specialising in sports rehabilitation. His career spans elite professional sport, private healthcare and the NHS, allowing him to develop a comprehensive and refined approach to injury management and performance-focused rehabilitation.

Prior to joining BOOST Physio, Michael served as Lead Academy Physiotherapist at Brentford FC, where he was responsible for the care and rehabilitation of elite footballers within one of the Premier League’s most progressive environments. He has also held physiotherapy roles within other Premier League clubs, working closely with athletes competing at the highest levels of the game. This experience has shaped a clinical approach built on precision, performance and evidence-based rehabilitation.

Michael is passionate about bringing the standards and principles of elite sport medicine into private physiotherapy care. His work focuses on accurate diagnosis, structured rehabilitation programmes and measurable outcomes, ensuring every patient receives a clear, tailored pathway to recovery.

I am an experienced physiotherapist, with a passion for helping people move better, feel better, and perform better.

I worked for over five years in the NHS across acute and community services, before transitioning to private practice.

I love working together with my clients to set meaningful goals and develop a personalised treatment plan tailored to their needs. This may include a combination of hands-on soft tissue release/manual therapy techniques, medical acupuncture, myofascial decompression and more, coupled with a graded exposure exercise program.

I have a particular interest in injury prevention, pain neuroscience and in treating those who have been suffering with pain for three months or more. I value in the importance of identifying the root cause of discomfort and empowering my clients with a clear understanding of their condition, enabling them to take an active role in their rehabilitation and recovery.
